How Agents Collaborate

The shared plumbing that lets agents work together safely.

A work in progress
We've published these resources in the hope they're useful — you're welcome to copy or use anything you find on this site. We're still working through each record to optimise it for completeness and accuracy, so some entries are fuller than others for now.

Why it matters

Agents are only as capable as what they can reach. Infrastructure is the plumbing underneath them — the connectors that hand them tools and the databases that give them a shared, governed memory.

It's the least visible part and the most important. Get it right and everything above it is fast, safe, and consistent; get it wrong and nothing else can be trusted.

How we build & maintain it

Connectors are small, single-purpose servers that expose only the endpoints we want, with clear descriptions and the occasional extra gate. The databases run row-level security by default, so each agent reaches only its own area.

We build connectors to spec in well under an hour each, and document every tool — so the surface stays small, legible, and easy to maintain.

How the streams connect

Infrastructure is the foundation the agents, automation, and front-end all stand on.
