Cookie Policy
Last updated: June 2026
We use a minimal set of cookies. This page explains exactly what we set, why, and how long each cookie lasts.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember information about your visit — for example, whether you have already acknowledged the cookie banner.
2. Cookie categories
2.1 Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are essential for the site to function and cannot be disabled. They do not collect personally identifiable information.
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| pftech-cookie-consent | Records your cookie consent choice — which categories you allowed, when you decided, and the policy version you saw — so the banner is not shown on every visit and we can demonstrate your consent. | 12 months (localStorage) — we ask again after that, or sooner if this policy changes | First-party |
2.2 Analytics cookies
These cookies help us understand how visitors interact with our site in aggregate. They are only set if you accept analytics cookies in the consent banner. No personally identifiable information is shared with Google.
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics 4 — distinguishes unique visitors. | 2 years | Third-party (Google) |
| _ga_* | Google Analytics 4 — stores and counts page views for this property. | 2 years | Third-party (Google) |
2.3 Marketing cookies
Marketing cookies are listed as an option in our consent banner but we do not currently use them. If that changes, this policy will be updated. No marketing cookies are set unless you explicitly consent.
3. Managing your preferences
You can review or update your cookie preferences at any time: use the settings button that stays at the bottom-left of every page after you make a choice, or the "Cookies" link in the site footer. Withdrawing analytics consent stops Google Analytics from setting or reading its cookies, and we remove the _ga cookies we can access. You can also block all cookies directly in your browser settings — note that disabling strictly necessary cookies may affect site functionality.
4. Third-party sub-processors
Beyond cookies, our site uses third-party services that may set their own cookies when you interact with their embedded elements (for example, Cal.com scheduling). Please refer to those services' own privacy and cookie policies for details.
